It can be seamlessly integrated as an Apple Audio Unit (AU) effect or utilized as a standalone application connected through CoreMIDI virtual ports. StreamByter has been adapted from our highly-regarded MidiFire MIDI processing platform.

For users of the AU variant, an iOS device with at least iOS 11 and a compatible AU host app such as AUM, apeMatrix, Cubasis, or Sequencism are required. To make use of CoreMIDI functionality, we recommend employing a routing application like MidiFire along with an iOS device running on at least iOS 8.

StreamByter empowers users to:

• Expand the MIDI processing capabilities of any AU host.
• Reassign channels, notes, controllers (any MIDI parameter).
• Refine or broadly filter MIDI events.
• Replicate or postpone any event.
• Automatically transmit any event upon loading the plugin.
• Create intricate effects by employing programming elements such as conditionals, loops, variables (including arrays, timing, and randomization), and mathematical operators.
• Establish bi-directional connections between effect logic and graphical sliders (remotely controllable through AU parameters).
